Reference Desk Services
The Reference / Information desk is located on the library's main floor (beside the staircase). Reference librarians can assist with research, online databases, and general informational questions.
Just ask us! We can help.
Have a 5-page paper due or an informational speech to deliver?
Need to locate a scholarly article or some help citing it?
Frustrated searching the Internet?
Confused as to which database to use and how to search effectively?
Our library faculty and staff are here to help you successfully navigate the research process and become information-literate. We provide one-on-one consultation at the reference desk or by appointment.
Handouts on various subjects, such as citation styles, can be found online and are also available at the Reference Desk.
Reference librarians can also assist faculty members in developing research assignments for students and in tailoring orientations to their classes.
