The first priority of WCC's Library is to serve the needs of WCC students, faculty, and staff, but community members may use the library in the following ways:
Borrowing - Use a library card from a Whatcom Libraries One Card library, or sign up by presenting photo i.d. at the circulation desk, to borrow books and media materials from the general collection ("stacks"). Community members may not borrow items that are on reserve for students. Detailed information about loan periods is found at Circulation Policies.
Computing - Use the email express computers across from the circulation desk for up to 30 minutes. The email express computers have access to the internet, but not to a printer. All other computers are reserved for faculty, students, and staff.
Copying - Use the copy machines. Copies are 10 cents per side and require using an Orca card or a copy card that can be purchased from the Place of Deposit machine in the Heiner lobby.
Perusing - Items that cannot be checked out, such as reference books, magazines, and newspapers, are available for use in the library.
Studying - Comfortable chairs, study carrels, and tables are available for use.
Meetings - A room is available for group studying or meetings. Reserve it at the circulation desk..
