The library will be closed Sat. 2/17 - Tue. 1/20 for Presidents' Day weekend and an in-service day.
Meanwhile, you can find out more about U.S. presidents.
According to Encyclopedia Britannica, Presidents' Day, which takes place the 3rd Monday in February, is officially known as Washington's Birthday.
However, it is "popularly recognized as honouring George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. The day is sometimes understood as a celebration of the birthdays and lives of all U.S. presidents."
Here are a couple of examples of books in the library's collection on presidents:
Baptism by fire: eight presidents who took office in times of crisis profiles George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, John Tyler, Abraham Lincoln, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Harry S. Truman, John F. Kennedy, and Gerald R. Ford.

Lincoln's melancholy: how depression challenged a president and fueled his greatness looks at Lincoln's experience with mental illness and how he succeeded in spite of, and perhaps somewhat because of it. If you are a person who struggles, you may find yourself inspired by Lincoln.
